Schedule
Friday, June 26:
Equipment drop-off and inspection will be from 6 - 9:00pm
Saturday, June 27:
Equipment setup at Camp Carpenter from noon - 4:00pm.
Sunday, June 28:
Leaders set up at Piscataqua site from 8 - 9:00am. The leaders meeting is at
Manning Hall at 9:15am followed by leader swim tests. Leaders eat
lunch at the dining hall with the staff guides at 11:30am.
Campers check in at our site (Piscataqua, see map above)
starting at 12:30pm. After everyone has arrived, we will all go to
Manning hall for medical form re-checks and pictures. Parents should
stay for this part (bring your checkbook), and they must drop off any
medications with the nurse at this time. After we are checked in and
photographed, the parents will leave, and the boys will do swim tests.
Since they have pictures followed by swim tests, recommended attire for
the Scouts is a swim suit with their Class A uniform.
Thursday, July 2nd:
Parents and siblings can arrive starting at 5:30pm. Equipment can be
carried out at this time, but no cars are allowed inside camp until
after the closing campfire (around 8:00pm). Dinner is at 6:15pm, and
parents and siblings are $5 each (paid on Sunday). After dinner, we go
to the closing campfire, which is brief but worthwhile.
Note: Once the Scouts are checked in, everyone who comes and goes must check in at the office, and visitors must be escorted at all times.
